Lame!

So, this morning, Alek, Abby, George, and myself all slept in, only to wake up and find the rest of the group gone. Seems they all decided to go on a day trip or something... without waking any of us up to tell us they were leaving.

Man, that's lame.

Oh well. Guess I'll keep writing my novel or do homework or something.

I Feel Dirty

Today, we discussed political ideologies in my Contemporary Issues in Europe since 1945 class. The discussion ended with us taking sides in a mock-political campaign.

I had to be a Socialist.

For those of you who know me, you know I'm about as anti-Socialist as it gets. This was, without a doubt, the hardest thing (next to flying over here, of course) that I've done so far in this program, because while I knew the information, I had a very hard time presenting it in a positive light.

Now that it's over, I feel like I need to take a shower.

Anyway, it's officially the weekend now (classes here run Monday-Thursday Noon). No big plans, going to go somewhere for dinner. I might go to Hangar 7 up at the airport if anyone else is interested. It's this free airplane, car, and motorcycle museum that's owned by the guy who invented Red Bull (he's from Salzburg too, believe it or not). And it's completely free. So we'll see about that. If I go, I promise there will be plenty of pictures.

Until then, Peace.

Yesterday

Things got kinda busy last night (homework, ugh) so I didn't have a chance to post.

Anyway, yesterday we had a picnic lunch in a park some of the other students found about 20 minutes from Haus Wartenberg. I had a ham sandwich. Again. (I'm really getting tired of those.)

Anyway, there was a little playground nearby, so we decided to hang out there for a while.

There's Emily on the merry-go-round.

George on some sort of spinning-pole contraption...

And (by special request) ME!!!!

Yeah, that thing spins really well, and I pushed off a little harder than I meant to, so I made myself very, very dizzy. So no more pics of the playground.

Didn't do much today; just classes until 3:00 and then homework. Fun.

Anyway, we might, might be going somewhere this weekend. Probably either to the Lake District or Eagles Nest, depends on how the weather is.

Until then, Peace.

Haus Wartenberg

Hey, everyone. I'm done classes for the day. Nothing new to really report (eating in all three meals), though I might go out after dinner.

Anyway, the real reason I'm posting is because I just realized I've made a serious oversight: I haven't posted any pictures of Haus Wartenberg.

It's a nice place. I like it here (which is good, seeing as how I'm stuck here for the next three months).

Anyway, that's all I got for now. See y'all later.

Peace,

PS. Oh, yeah, almost forgot. In the bottom pic, we've got (left to right) Jesse, Emily, Mike, Jaime (back towards camera), Aleck (front towards camera), and Samantha. I'll try and either get some group shots from someone or take a few of my own in the future.

Same as Yesterday

Nothing new to report. Mostly just sat around and did homework all day.

We went out to a Chinese restaurant (with real Chinese food, not the fake junk they serve in the USA) for dinner, and I actually liked it. Had some sort of omelette with ham and chicken in it, which was delicious, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

Posts are probably going to be much less frequent from now on, seeing as how classes start tomorrow. I'll probably just post what I do on the weekends, unless something really cool happens during the week.

Until then, peace.
